i take great pride in crafting one-of-a-kind characters with precision and artistry. each puppet is meticulously designed, ensuring that your puppet is as unique as you are! i guarantee that your puppet is an exclusive creation, made just for you. however, just as in the human world where we might come across a doppelgänger or someone with a familiar face, my puppets may share a "family resemblance." but rest assured, your puppet is its own special character, distinct and individual.

cost

the quoted price for your custom puppet is inclusive of all taxes and shipping charges, unless otherwise communicated and agreed upon beforehand. i strive to provide transparent pricing, so we can be sure to work within your budget.

project start and process

once we’ve signed the agreement and your 30% deposit has been paid, your project spot on my build schedule is secured, and i’ll begin crafting your puppet. the design will be locked in based on the artwork and specifications we finalized during our initial collaboration. if any variations arise during the build process due to new discoveries or material availability, i’ll promptly communicate these changes to you for your approval, ensuring the final puppet aligns with your expectations.

payment terms

a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to begin work on your puppet. the remaining balance is due upon completion of the puppet and must be paid before it can be shipped. you can make payments securely through the :jc puppets website using credit card, debit card, or afterpay. if you prefer to send a check or money order, we can arrange that.

delivery

once your puppet is completed and the final payment has been received, i’ll promptly arrange for its shipment. delivery timelines will be communicated to you once the puppet is ready to go. i’ll ensure your puppet is carefully packaged to arrive safely at its new home and provide tracking information so you can follow along the journey.

craftsmanship guarantee

i take immense pride in the quality of my work. every puppet from :jc puppets is crafted with attention to detail, durable and professional materials, and made to last. if any issues arise related to the craftsmanship of your puppet within the first year of ownership, i’ll repair it at no additional cost (you’re only responsible for shipping and insuring it using your preferred service). this guarantee covers workmanship and materials but does not extend to damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care.

performance & usage rights

i'm thrilled to see my puppets come to life in your performances! your talent + my puppets = magic! as the proud owner of a :jc puppets creation, you have full permission to perform with your character in live shows, film/tv projects, and on the web. i just ask that you include a small nod to my craft by crediting the puppet’s creation to “:jc puppets.” you’re also welcome to feature your puppet in promotional materials, both print and digital.

intellectual property & reproduction rights

while you have the freedom to use your puppet in various creative ways, i retain all rights to the character’s design and reproduction. this means that your puppet, in all its unique character and craftsmanship as designed by me, cannot be reproduced as a new puppet by another builder or used for merchandising purposes without my express written agreement.
